Overview
Our client is a leading global investment bank seeking an Associate Director to join their Project Finance Portfolio Management team in Sydney. This high-impact role offers exposure to a broad range of marquee infrastructure and energy assets, spanning renewables, utilities, transport, digital, PPPs and social infrastructure. You will play a central role in shaping portfolio performance, safeguarding credit quality, and supporting the execution of new transactions, within a highly experienced and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and monitor a diversified PF portfolio, identifying emerging risks and opportunities.
Conduct in-depth financial and cash flow analysis, ensuring compliance with covenants and obligations.
Prepare credit applications, waivers, refinancing proposals, and portfolio performance reports.
Partner with Origination on new deals, providing structuring input and reviewing due diligence.
Support execution of transactions through close collaboration with legal, middle, and back-office teams.
Coach and mentor junior team members, contributing to a strong and supportive team culture.
Candidate Profile
c.8–12 years' Project Finance experience, ideally gained in banking or financial institutions.
Strong technical and credit analysis skills, with exposure to infrastructure and energy sectors.
Strong communicator with proven ability to manage clients and stakeholders.
Well-suited to candidates from both PF portfolio management and PF origination backgrounds.
