Who we are looking for: We are looking for the Core Operations Associate 2 position within Asia Pacific Global Delivery. The Fund Order Services unit is located in Sydney and functions as an end‑to‑end processing team that covers security price updates, security transactions, corporate action processes, and the generation and delivery of client‑customised accounting reports.
Why this role is important to us: The team you will be joining is part of State Street Global Services (SSGS). SSGS provides asset owners and managers with essential financial tools ranging from core custody, accounting, and fund administration to shareholder record‑keeping and full‑service solutions for alternative assets such as OTC derivatives, private equity, and real estate. Across the globe, institutional investors rely on us to manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability. You will help build resilience and execute day‑to‑day deliverables at our best.
What you will be responsible for:
Build understanding of existing mutual fund trading infrastructure and business processes.
Work autonomously with confidence in a fast‑moving, complex technical environment.
Build relationships with colleagues across multiple functional groups.
Assist senior associates in completing basic research and resolving inquiries for clients, trading partners, and internal stakeholders.
Ensure all team deliverables are met within assigned deadlines on a daily basis, document and update procedures and team checklists, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
Assist with client reporting and client projects.

1 to 3 years of experience in the financial services industry.
