ClearCompany seeks an experienced Legal Counsel to provide critical legal advice on employment law in Asia Pacific.
The successful candidate will be the trusted advisor to our Human Relations and Employee Relations teams, navigating legal compliance and managing employee relations issues.
This role requires someone who can deliver practical, commercially-minded advice and build strong relationships in a dynamic Tech/Saas environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert legal advice on employment law issues, including employee relations, terminations, performance management, and workforce changes.
* Collaborate with global legal teams and outside counsel on investigations, disputes, and litigation.
* Ensure legal compliance in key jurisdictions such as Australia, Korea, Japan, and/or Singapore.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Requirements
* A minimum of 5+ years of post-admission experience in Employment Law.
* A blend of law firm and in-house experience is preferred (Tech/Saas industry experience advantageous).
* A valid practising certificate and good standing with a relevant law society.
* A proven ability to operate autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in an ambiguous environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, building trust with business partners.
