McArthur is seeking a temporary administration and accounts assistant to support our client. This role will provide Accounts Payable and general administrative support to multiple teams, that include the Aged and Disability Support team, the Administration team and Finance team.
This is a 6-week position, with a likely extension to cover a maternity leave period. Located in South Morang, this role offers full-time hours and is immediately available.
Key Responsibilities:
* Enter accounts payable invoices and purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
* Match invoices to approved purchase orders and supporting documentation
* Ensure correct coding, GST treatment, and compliance.
* Assist with resolving discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and approvals.
* Respond to internal and external queries related to invoices, purchase orders, and payments
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to obtain missing information or clarify issues
* Assist with day-to-day support activities related to Sandwai and purchase order integration
* Support data checks, system updates, and process alignment between Sandwai and the finance system
* Assist the Finance team with testing, validation, and issue logging as part of system integration activities
* SaH Associate Provider Administration & Compliance
* Assist with the administration of Support at Home (SaH) Associate Provider agreements
* Maintain records of agreements, compliance documentation, and supporting evidence
* Perform compliance checks (e.g. documentation completeness, expiry tracking) in accordance with internal guidelines
* Follow up with providers for missing or updated documentation under direction from the Finance team
* Support audit, compliance, and reporting preparation by collating information and documents.
Selection Criteria:
* Demonstrated experience with Sandwai and Xero.
* Demonstrated experience in an accounts payable, finance administration, or similar support role
* Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce or related field.
Essential:
* Must have clear NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Must have clear National Police Check
* Must have valid Working With Children Check
* Must hold a current Victorian Driver's License
* Must have evidence of right to work in Australia.
