The Opportunity
We are seeking safety and quality conscious E&I Commissioning Technicians to join the team at a remote underground mine site. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 FIFO roster. Flights, accommodation and meal allowances will be provided.
In this role, you will:
* Energise systems progressively in a safe, controlled manner.
* Verify instrumentation and control systems wiring against P&IDs and I/O lists.
* Conduct functional testing of electrical equipment and instruments.
* Calibrate and prove safety interlocks, emergency stops, earth leakage devices, overloads and trip functions.
* Support dry and wet commissioning phases (no-load and load tests).
* Maintain accurate commissioning records, as-built documentation, green lines and test sheets for project handover.
About you
* 2 years' experience in a commissioning role.
* Able to identify and resolve complex problems in a timely manner.
* Work well in group problem-solving situations.
* Mining or Heavy Industrial experience is preferred but not essential for this role.
The successful candidate will have:
* Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech.
* Certificate in Instrumentation.
* Current Electrical License.
* High-risk work License (with WP class).
* Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months).
* Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months).
* Current Unrestricted C Class Driver's License.
* White / Blue Construction Card.
