SENIOR AUDITOR – TAMWORTH – MID-TIER ACCOUNTING & ADVISORY FIRM (JOB ID 1374) Looking to take the next step in your audit career with a respected and growing firm? We are currently recruiting an Audit Senior on behalf of a well-established accounting and advisory firm in Tamworth. This role offers exposure to a diverse client base, the opportunity to mentor junior staff, and involvement in both audit and advisory engagements. The Role: Conducting end-to-end corporate and SMSF audits, including workpaper preparation and audit report completion Supporting the Audit Partner with the management of audit workflows and client engagements Reviewing work completed by junior team members prior to Partner review Assisting with the management of client relationships and maintaining high service standards Supporting the firm’s advisory work where required Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes and industry developments Contributing to marketing initiatives and promoting the firm’s services Deliver high-quality audit services About You: Completed university degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce or Technology Completed or currently undertaking the CA Program Commitment to completing ASIC Audit Registration Minimum 4 years audit experience within public practice Sound knowledge of auditing and accounting standards Working knowledge of financial statements and risk-based audit methodologies Experience with SMSF audits desirable, including knowledge of the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993 Understanding of the not-for-profit sector advantageous Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance documentation Ability to mentor and support graduate and intermediate staff What’s On Offer: Supportive and collaborative team environment Ongoing professional development and mentoring Exposure to a diverse range of corporate and SMSF clients Opportunity to build leadership capability and progress your career Work with a well-respected regional firm with a strong reputation in the market If you are looking to progress your career in audit while working with a professional and supportive team, we would love to hear from you.
