Employment Type: Ongoing

Location: Parramatta – Hybrid opportunity. In‑office requirement 2‑3 days a week a minimum, may change based on DCS workplace policies.

About the Team

* Government Shared Services (GSS) is a new division in DCS that leads the way in streamlining processes and transactional shared services, allowing people to focus on customers and delivering services.
* We are developing and delivering a roadmap to leverage technology, streamline processes, replace legacy systems and deliver a consistent experience to more than 100+ agencies across 8 NSW Government Departments.


What you will do

* Technical responsibility for all stages of the automation development process to ensure requirements are documented and met by designing and delivering robust automations that deliver quality and productivity benefits for DCS.
* Build and manage building of automations using UiPath, in alignment with the UiPath ReFramework, as documented in the process design document (PDD).
* Lead automation adoption and uptake through targeted change management and end‑user training initiatives.
* Utilise technical expertise from key stakeholders in the requirements analysis phase to ensure the solution is fit‑for‑purpose and use.
* Design and execute acceptance testing to improve quality and reduce operational risk of the automated process.
* Provide ongoing analysis and review of DCS/GSS processes to identify opportunities to improve and enhance automation for the organisation.
* Manage and share knowledge on specialised code as required to enable automation development, including capturing repeat functions so that teams can leverage a consistent approach.


About You

* High level of experience in RPA development using UiPath.
* Strong knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and RPA best practices, understanding of SDLC, DevOps and Agile development methodologies.
* Solid experience as an RPA consultant, senior RPA developer or RPA technical lead.
* Experience developing and implementing automated UiPath processes or suitable wider development experience.
* Knowledge of AI and machine learning.
* Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, JIRA, Power BI, .NET and Visual Basic (VB).
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Highly proficient in using MS Excel, MS Visio and MS PowerPoint.
