About the Role:
As Manager Public Policy and Government Relations QLD, you will lead the team responsible for executing integrated policy and political engagement programs in Queensland. You will drive policy, advocacy and reputational outcomes that manage risk and advance interests in Queensland.
Your Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute public policy and government relations strategies in Queensland
* Monitor and analyse political, policy and regulatory developments to anticipate risk and opportunity
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with political stakeholders, government officials and policy influencers at state and national levels
* Represent the company in high-level political and policy forums, advocating for outcomes that support long-term business success and social value creation
* Provide strategic advice and counsel to Asset leadership on political, policy and regulatory matters
* Lead and coach the Public Policy and Government Relations team in QLD, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting professional development

You are a politically astute leader with a proven track record in government relations, advocacy and strategic engagement. You bring deep expertise in navigating complex political environments and understand how to influence outcomes through relationships, evidence and timing.
