ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Join our Mt Thorley (Hunter Valley) Rebuilds Workshop and be part of a highly skilled mechanical team delivering industryleading CAT machine rebuilds to worldclass standards. * This role is suited to Plant / Heavy Diesel Mechanics with rebuild or heavy equipment experience not light vehicle backgrounds.* As part of our rebuild team, youll support the full mechanical rebuild lifecycle from teardown to commissioning, ensuring every machine is delivered safely, reliably, and ready for peak performance.
$60$89 /hr incl allowances OT, paid fortnightly Lifestyle roster, day & night 12.5hr shifts, 5 wks leave Workshop OEM CAT rebuilds, modern facility, stable team
WHAT YOULL DO
* Strip, rebuild and reassemble CAT machines and major mechanical components
* Conduct inspections, diagnostics and quality checks throughout the rebuild lifecycle
* Carry out scheduled maintenance and mechanical adjustments to meet specifications
* Maintain a clean, safe and wellorganised workshop
* Collaborate closely with Supervisors and team members to deliver quality rebuilds on time
WHAT YOULL BRING
* Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (Plant / Heavy Diesel)
* Proven rebuilds, component overhaul or heavy equipment experience (essential)
* Experience on CAT or similar surface mining equipment
* Strong diagnostics and fault finding capability
* Proactive, safety-first mindset; unrestricted drivers licence
