About Us
Up and Active has been providing exceptional physiotherapy and exercise physiology care since 2012. With three clinics and a team of passionate allied health professionals, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care in a welcoming and professional environment. With the recent expansion, we are looking for a dedicated receptionist to join our team, taking on key responsibilities to ensure a smooth transition in our day-to-day operations.

About the Role
As our receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, ensuring every patient has a seamless experience from arrival to departure. You will play a key role in supporting our team of physiotherapists and exercise physiologists while managing essential administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting patients with a warm and professional manner
- Managing phone enquiries and booking appointments
- Processing payments and handling accounts, including private health, CTP, DVA, and Work Cover claims
- Assisting with administrative and reporting duties
- Coordinating practitioner schedules and clinic operations
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional reception area
- Opening and closing the clinic
About You
We are looking for a mature, reliable, and friendly skilled who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A warm and welcoming personality
- Exceptional organisation and attention to detail
- Experience in reception, administration, or customer service (healthcare experience is a bonus!)
- The ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team
- Proficiency with computers and scheduling software (training provided)
- Availability to work shifts at 3 different clinic locations, Toowoomba city, South Toowoomba and Highfields
- Availability to work varied shift times clinic hours (6:45 am- 7:00 PM, with varied shift times)
- Ability to cover leave shifts and school holidays
- An example of weekly shift times could look like the following: Mon 1.45-7.15pm, Tues 10-7.15 pm, Wed 2.15-5.15pm, Thurs 7.15-10.15 am and Friday 6.45am to 5.15 pm.
