About the Role
We are welcoming applications from experienced technicians in this hands-on role. You'll be responsible for the routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of SPITWATER machines and equipment. You'll apply your mechanical and electrical know-how to ensure our customers' equipment runs smoothly and efficiently — every time.
Both field and workshop positions are available, working from our Store in Rocklea, with field technicians attending customer sites across Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled maintenance (servicing), repairs, and diagnostics on SPITWATER equipment.
* Accurately identify faults and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
* Communicate professionally with customers, providing clear updates on progress and costs.
* Maintain accurate service records, including parts used and maintenance schedules.
* Ensure service vehicles and work areas are kept clean, safe, and well-organised.
* Follow all company and customer Work Health & Safety procedures, including completion of required documentation.
* Assist with installations of new equipment and solutions when required.
* Represent SPITWATER professionally, maintaining our reputation for reliability and service excellence.
About You
You'll bring a strong mechanical or electrical aptitude and a proactive, customer-focused approach. You're methodical, well-organised, and take pride in doing the job right the first time.
Candidates must be Australian citizens or permanent residents with full working rights in Australia.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
* A relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. mechanical fitter, electrician, or similar), or be working towards this.
* Minimum 1-2 years of relevant technical experience in maintenance or repair roles.
* Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, or the aptitude to develop these.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
* A current Australian driver's licence.
* A forklift licence (preferred, not essential).
* HubSpot CRM experience (advantageous, not essential).
