What are you going to doAs part of the Maintenance Planning & Engineering team, you'll create and manage work orders, support shutdown planning for fixed plant equipment, optimise resources, review asset condition, and monitor cost performance.This is an 5:2/4:3 roster position, on a 6 month contract.Review and prioritise approved maintenance notifications and provide feedback to originators.Estimate labour, equipment downtime, and resource requirements for non-urgent work.Plan detailed work orders and coordinate specialised external contractors when required.Analyse maintenance history and ensure accurate data updates for damage and failure causes.Initiate warranty and repairable/rotable processes for corrective maintenance tasks.Review upcoming work against asset criticality, safety, statutory and project requirements.Identify and resolve scope conflicts, adjusting downtime and schedules as necessary.Monitor planned vs actual costs, support budget forecasting, and escalate major variances.Essential skills and knowledgeBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related fieldExperience in maintenance planning and schedulingExperience in power station maintenance or a similar industryKnowledge of maintenance management systems such as SAPExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsWillingness to work in a remote mine site on an 5:2/4:3 rosterYou must be located in Australia and have current right to work to be considered for this roleYou must have a full manual driving licence to be considered
