Job Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Casual Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have professional experience in support work, ability to understand and support participants' needs and concerns, skillful in building safe and supportive relationships with participants, and exceptional communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of workshops for participants.
* Assist workshop leaders and provide custom support.
* Engage and encourage participants to participate in activities.
* Set up and pack down room and equipment for workshops and activities.
The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals. Clearances required include valid Working with Children Check, recent Police Check, and First Aid Certificate inclusive of CPR.
