Liebherr Mining is experiencing significant growth, in both its workforce and manufacturing capabilities, due to significant contracts with mining majors across WA. This includes investing in training and development programs, expanding its apprenticeship program, and hiring skilled trades across Mechanical and Electrical, to enhance its ability to deliver high-quality products and services to the mining industry.
About the Role
We are currently looking for skilled Mechanical Fitters to join our team based at a variety of Fortescue Sites.
The Roster
* Permanent Full-Time roles
* 8/6, 12-hour day/night FIFO from Perth
Duties Include but are not limited to:
* Provide diagnostic, maintenance and component replacement services
* Inspect plant and equipment for conformity with established standards
* Diagnose faults, repair, maintain and overhaul mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components
* Running adjustments to mechanical equipment
* Recommend corrective remedies to sustain or improve equipment condition & performance
Qualifications and Experience:
* Trade qualification plus at least 2 years of relevant experience OR at least three years of relevant experience
* Previous Liebherr equipment knowledge preferred but not essential
* Current driver’s licence (C class minimum)
* High Risk Licence LF, DG, EWP and WAH
