Site Manager - Commercial Projects up to $10m - Newcastle
About the CompanyThis company is well known for delivering excellent projects across a multitude of sectors. They are looking for a Site Manager to deliver projects up to $10m in the Newcastle area.
You will be responsible for ensuring that these projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards, while leading teams, managing subcontractors, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. This will include:
* Overseeing all on-site construction activities to meet project milestones and stakeholder expectations.
* Leading by example in health, safety, environment, and quality management.
* Collaborating with project leaders to develop construction management and workplace relations plans.
* Managing subcontractor performance, labour resources, and site logistics.
* Conducting regular site walks, safety meetings, and progress reviews.
* Fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Building and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives.
* Supporting buildability reviews and contribute to achieving design and quality outcomes.
* Ensuring compliance with company standards, HSE legislation, and project specifications.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within the commercial construction sector
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse teams.
* Solid understanding of subcontractor markets and construction methodologies.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects safely, on schedule, and to specification.
