About the role
The Kitchenhand is responsible for, but not limited to, stripping and washing tray-line serving trays, washing chef's dishes, cleans ovens and equipment including slicers and kettles. Uses floor scrubber and mop to clean floors.
Washes dishes and utensils including cooking utensils, cleans kitchen, maintains records of cleaning duties completed to comply with Food Safety regulations
Cleans and sanitises equipment after use e.g. dishwasher, removes waste from kitchen
Might be called upon to deliver meals to patients on the wards, collect trollies and empty meal trays from wards, may assist with in between meals deliveries.
