12 Months fixed term opportunity for an organised Education Administration Officer (Agile) based at Susan Wakil Health Building
Opportunity to provide a broad range of education administrative and operational support to academic and teaching staff to support processes for teaching activities
Base Salary of $89,755 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
We are seeking an AgileEducation Administration Officerto join our vibrant faculty team, supporting academic and teaching staff across multiple schools and precincts.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth delivery of educational programs and compliance with university standards.
Appointed at the faculty level, the role operates across different teams as needed.
You'll be part of a collaborative environment that values innovation and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will be interpreting, advising, and implementing relevant University policy and practices and assist Academic, Teaching and Professional staff with general policy interpretation and other procedural issues related to education support services.
Please note that these roles are not open to current University of Sydney students.
You will be expected to maintain an onsite presence for this position, with WFH arrangements to be discussed with your manager if you are successful.
Responsibilities
Supporting the implementation of program evaluation and improvements for research-based or coursework programs of study by managing the program/subject evaluation process and adopting the changes designed by Academic staff responsible for the program or study or subject
Liaising with and establishing effective working relationships with key staff to ensure that the work area's education support, learning, curriculum and teaching priorities and needs are effectively met
Maintaining relevant databases and contact lists to support learning and teaching activities, e.g., tutor/clinic/ patient databases, contact information for actor patients, etc.
Supporting the compilation of academic content and materials prepared by Academic and Teaching staff for printed publication and uploading to Blackboard/online systems.

We are looking forEducation Administration Officerswho have:
Effective and tactful communication skills (verbal and written) with strong problem-solving abilities, initiative, sound judgement, and the ability to prioritise workload during busy periods
Excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve required outcomes
Superior computer skills, including database maintenance, experience with Microsoft Excel, and experience operating with large, corporate-level databases and information systems
Experience working in a tertiary or complex organisation will be highly regarded
Work rights
