The Role
We are seeking a proactive Interior Designer / Colour Consultant who will also serve as a vital Client Liaison throughout the building process. You won't just be picking palettes; you will be the guiding hand for our clients from their initial selections through to the completion of their dream home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design & Colour Selection: Lead clients through interior and exterior selection appointments, including cabinetry, flooring, fixtures, and paint schemes.
* Trend Research: Maintain an expert knowledge of current design trends, materials, and innovative colour palettes to provide professional, forward-thinking advice.
* Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for a small portfolio of clients, ensuring they feel informed and supported during every stage of construction.
* Data Entry & Documentation: Accurately record all client selections and variations into our systems to ensure seamless communication with our estimating and construction teams.
* Administrative Support: Assist with contract documentation and maintaining project files with high attention to detail.
About You
* Qualified: You hold a tertiary qualification in Interior Design, Interior Styling, or a related field, or have substantial previous experience.
* Experienced: Previous experience with a residential builder or in a showroom environment is highly regarded.
* Communicator: You possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build genuine rapport with clients.
* Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with data entry systems; experience with design software is a plus.
* Proactive: You have a strong work ethic, take initiative, and can manage multiple priorities in a boutique environment.
