We work predominantly on local council projects within the Adelaide metropolitan area.
We are seeking an experienced civil construction supervisor to work with an experienced crew of 4 -6 people.
About The Role
* Hands‐on role, including machine operation and coordinating day‐to‐day civil construction activities.
* Working closely with the project management team regarding service and production targets.
* Will be responsible for your own crew of operators/construction workers to manage.
* Supervising subcontractors (concrete, asphalt, linemarking etc)
* Overseeing WHS and QA requirements on site.
* Construction Induction certification and relevant high‐risk work tickets are required.
* Standard working hours are 7 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
Skills & Experience
* Previous civil project delivery experience in carparks, paving prep, roads, footpaths, earthworks, storm water and creek works.
* Experience in skidsteer, excavator, and loader operations.
* Ability to interpret construction drawings.
* Ability to interpret and setout survey levels, including calculating grades.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
* Australian work rights are required for this position.
