We are seeking a hands-on Management Couple to oversee the day-to-day operations of Julia Creek Motel. This role suits a practical, reliable couple who enjoy working together across accommodation operations, guest service, and general maintenance while being part of a friendly outback community.
This is a live-and-work regional position offering stability, lifestyle, and variety in your day-to-day work.
Package
* $90,000 per year (combined) + 12% superannuation
* Subsidised housing available

Workload & Seasonality
* Busy season: March to December
Higher guest volumes and steady operations.
* Quiet season: December to March
Reduced occupancy — an ideal time for:
* Property improvements
* Deep cleaning & maintenance
* Family downtime / short breaks by agreement
This structure offers a balanced lifestyle, especially for couples wanting predictable busy periods and quieter family time.
Shared Responsibilities
Both partners will contribute across:
* Guest service, check-ins & reservations
* RMS Property Management System (or similar)
* Managing bookings, payments & admin
* Housekeeping coordination & cleaning support
* Keeping rooms & facilities to a high presentation standard
* Basic handyman & general maintenance tasks
* Yard & garden maintenance
* Safe use of small tools & equipment
* Liaising with trades when needed
* Stock control & simple purchasing
* Overall property care & presentation
About You (as a couple)
* Accommodation / hospitality experience preferred
* RMS experience highly regarded
* Hands-on, reliable & customer-focused
* Practical with maintenance & cleaning
* Comfortable living in a regional town
* Keen to build a long-term base
