Select Custom Joinery is seeking an enthusiastic Cabinet Maker or advanced apprentice to join our small, dedicated workshop. We specialise in creating high-quality custom joinery items made from solid timber and plywood, tailored to each client's unique needs.
About the role:
You'll be working on a variety of projects—from bespoke furniture and cabinetry to detailed architectural joinery—using both traditional craftsmanship and modern techniques.
What we're looking for:
* A keen eye for detail and pride in your workmanship
* Experience or training in cabinet making or furniture making
* Minimum 2 years of experience in cabinet making or furniture making
* Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
* A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a small, supportive team
* (For apprentices) completion of at least 2nd or 3rd year preferred
* Australian driver's licence - manual preferred
* Australian work rights are required for this position
The job entails all aspects of cabinetmaking from selecting timber, cutting and machining, polishing, finishing and installation on-site.
