About the Role
The House Manager is accountable for delivering high-quality therapeutic care to vulnerable young people in a trauma-informed framework.
This involves leading, supervising, supporting, and developing the Therapeutic Youth Work team in intensive settings.
* Develop behaviour management strategies tailored to children and adolescents with challenging behaviours.
* Collaborate with teams, staff, and stakeholders to provide exceptional therapeutic care.
* Demonstrate expertise and knowledge of residential care, particularly in therapeutic environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement comprehensive behaviour management programs for children and adolescents with complex needs.
* Engage in collaborative partnerships with various teams, staff, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions.
* Exhibit extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the residential care sector, especially within therapeutic settings.
Requirements
* Possess a tertiary qualification at Bachelor Degree level in social work, community services, or a relevant field.
* Hold a valid and current Driver's Licence.
* Satisfactorily complete a Criminal History Check.
* Possess a valid Employee Working with Children Check.
* Obtain a valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check.
