This is a full-time opportunity based in our Sandringham office with Wealth Management Services. The company is deVere Australia, focused on training and career growth within a sustainable, award-winning environment.
We are seeking Financial Advisors who want to join our growth journey, with opportunities to manage a varied portfolio, receive extensive training, and advance their careers.
You will be responsible for building solid client relationships and assisting clients in making better decisions by providing investment advisory services that integrate other financial services to address portfolio needs. A holistic, consultative process will be used to tailor personalised strategies using a range of financial products and services.
Key Activities
* Build and develop a bank of wealth management clients (B2C only).
* Manage and support a portfolio of clients, maintaining strong communication with a personalised advisory approach.
* Grow assets under management (AUM) by identifying client needs and recommending opportunities.
* Conduct in-depth reviews to identify personal and financial needs and deliver tailored wealth management solutions.
* Deliver needs-based solutions through effective communication and influencing.
* Gather information to assess potential impacts and identify risks and opportunities for the client.
* Advise on a full range of products and services with individualised advice on personal wealth across listed categories.
Products and services focus
UK pension transfers, QROPS advice, Australian superannuation rollover, Lump Sum Investments, Fixed-Income Products, Global Funds (including Equity, ESG), Regular Savings Plans, Portfolio Bonds, International Pension Planning
Compliance
* Stay informed and comply with all relevant legislative, financial, procedural, and quality requirements.
Skills Required
* Graduate Diploma or Degree equivalent in Financial Planning
* Strong sales acumen and experience with face-to-face client interaction
* Service-focused with strong numerical and analytical skills and attention to detail
* Experience with high net worth clients is desirable but not essential
* Understanding of lump sum investments, offshore investments, fintech, bonds, or pension products is advantageous
* Trustworthy, professional team player with a drive to deliver quality service
* Sound judgement and ability to analyse investment risks
* Ambition and drive to achieve targets
