For the last 30+ years, our client has manufactured purpose built pumping systems designed to their client's requirements and specifications with a proven reputation of quality, reliability and service, supplying to a wide range of client's in the Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction, Heavy Industry and Utilities industries.
About the Role
Our client has a large stores department that stocks over 3000 parts and materials that are used in the in-house manufacture of specialized pumping equipment. The stores department has a small team of approximately 8 to 10 team members that work across receivables, pick and pack and dispatch.
Our client is seeking a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Operator that is able to carry out the following;
* Picking Orders off Bill of Materials
* Using RF Scanners for Receivables & Picked Items
* Distribution of Parts & Materials to in-house Workshop Departments - Mechanical, Fabrication & Electrical
* Counter Balance Fork Lift operation
* High Reach Fork Lift Operation (Will train if no experience)
* Receivables – unpack, check, scan and put away – Boxed, Palletized & Ugly Freight
* Dispatch – Boxed, Palletized & Ugly Freight - Carefully prepare completed products with protective packing & wrapping as well as taking pictures of transported items for QA & loading trucks
Working Hours & Days
The standard working hours and days are as follows;
* Monday to Friday
* 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* Over Time when required (OT rates apply)
About the Candidate

In addition, we are seeking a candidate that have the following;
* Has at least 1 year experienced in Counter Balance Fork Lift operation
* Has at least 1 year experience "Stores Picking" experience
* Has RF Scanner Experience
* Experienced in updating warehouse software systems / Good Computer Skills
* Can carry out "hands on" tasks that require a high level of physically fitness
Remuneration
Depending on your Experience and Attitude the pay rate will be between;
* $34.00 to $38.00 Per Hour (On a casual basis)
* + OT
* + Super
* Perm Rates will be between $34.00 to $36.00 Per Hour + OT + Monthly Bonus Scheeme - After 3 to 6 months through Staff-Net
