Overview
We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently while supporting the daily operations of our yard. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your expertise, learn new skills, and collaborate with a dedicated team.
Position Details
* Type: Full-Time
* FIFO Schedule: 14 days on, 7 days off
* Local Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM, weekend work as required
Your Qualifications
* Experience operating excavators and/or material handlers
* Understanding of various heavy equipment's operational characteristics
* Knowledge of maintenance requirements for heavy equipment
* Proven track record in performing skilled construction and maintenance tasks
* Experience with manual handling
* Forklift license advantageous but not essential
* Ability to interpret and work from nests
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Mechanical aptitude
* Fitness for work (including clear Drug and Alcohol Screens)
* Right to work in Australia
* Ability to pass a Police Check
