About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Spare Parts Back Counter Interpreter to join our busy Parts Department at our multi-franchise dealership representing two major vehicle manufacturers.
This is a hands-on role supporting our workshop technicians with accurate parts interpretation, supply, and inventory control in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret and supply spare parts to workshop technicians
* Use manufacturer EPC systems to accurately identify parts
* Manage back counter enquiries efficiently and professionally
* Process parts orders, returns, and credits
* Maintain accurate inventory control and bin locations
* Liaise with service advisors and technicians to ensure smooth workflow
* Assist with stock receipting and occasional stock takes
About You
* Proven experience in automotive parts interpretation (dealer experience preferred)
* Strong knowledge of vehicle components and systems
* Confident using EPC / DMS systems
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment
* Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
* Current driver's licence
