JMG are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical Group in our Hobart office. Playing an integral part in the electrical team, you will work within our dynamic Building Services Group to ensure the effective delivery of electrical projects for some of Tasmania's most prominent and exciting developments.
Our Opportunity as an Electrical Engineer includes the following responsibilities:
* Design and manage documentation for electrical power, lighting, IT communications, security and dry fire systems.
* Involvement in single and multidiscipline building and infrastructure projects.
* Deliver a variety of prominent Tasmanian building projects across the health, education, retail, tourism, custodial and government and commercial office sectors.
* Participate in all project phases, from feasibility and concept design to detailed design and construction phase administration.
To be the successful candidate in this role you will possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Minimum of 7 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer in a building services consultancy role.
* Relevant Tertiary qualifications or equivalent technical experience as an Electrical Designer.
* A strong work ethic and the ability to work in a structured and organised manner.
* A comprehensive understanding of Australian design standards and building codes.
* The ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, your team and the wider business.
