Job Title:
Health Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical expertise in injury prevention, injury management, fitness for work, rehabilitation and return to work processes
* Develop suitable duties plans and associated documents
* Coordinate case management with workers' compensation provider, workers, medical and allied health providers and stakeholders
* Support regulatory health surveillance activities and reporting, and the delivery of health promotion initiatives
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a health-related or science discipline
Skills:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to effectively engage, influence and coach varied levels of stakeholders
* Intermediate skills in MS Office suite
* Working knowledge of Queensland workers' compensation process and RRTWC course completion
