About the role
Join our team as a Grade 3 Occupational Therapist in Monash Health's Young Adults Transition Service (YATS) in a part‐time, fixed term capacity until early 2027. This exciting role offers a chance to partner with young people aged 17‐25 years, their parents and support networks to navigate adult health services. The successful applicant will be based at Specialist Clinics (Kingston Centre) in Melbourne's southeast with flexible working opportunities possible.
About us
Monash Health Young Adults Transition Service (YATS) is a state‐wide specialist clinic providing coordinated transition services for adolescents and young adults with physical disabilities and/or complex medical needs. Our team assists with the successful transition of clients from paediatric services to adult‐oriented health care systems. As a Grade 3 OT, you will provide specialised occupational therapy assessments through an in‐depth understanding of the physical, functional, sensory and occupational needs of clients with neurological and/or neurodevelopmental conditions. You will work with the YATS multidisciplinary team to support clients through their transition journey.

About you
In this highly respected, senior OT position you will bring:
* Your ability to contribute to peer‐based learning and case discussion
* Experience with quality and/or research initiatives
* Demonstrated commitment to best practice care
* Enthusiasm, compassion and a collaborative approach to your work
Applications from established senior Occupational Therapists or highly experienced Grade 2 Occupational Therapists with relevant disability or neurological experience are welcomed.
Qualification & licence requirements
* Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapist) or equivalent.
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
