Embassy XO is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our high-performing kitchen in beautiful Sunshine Beach.

About the Role
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the full operation of the kitchen, including:
* Leading, training, and developing the kitchen team
* Menu creation, seasonal planning, and dish innovation
* Managing food quality, presentation standards, and consistency
* Cost control, ordering, supplier management, and stock rotation
* Roster planning and labour management
* Ensuring compliance with food safety and WHS requirements
* Working closely with management to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
This role suits a hands‑on, organised, and motivated chef who thrives in a creative and fast‑paced environment.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, ready to step up
* Minimum 1-2 years of Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef experience required
* Strong background in Asian, fusion, contemporary, or fine‑dining cuisine
* Excellent leadership, communication, and team‑building skills
* Ability to manage costs while maintaining premium quality
* Passion for consistency, creativity, and high service standards
* Calm under pressure with a positive, solutions‑focused attitude
