ABOUT THE ROLEThe Electronic Repair Technician will facilitate the effective and efficient repair of failed equipment at the National Repair and Calibration Centre (NRCC). Key Responsibilities: Conduct equipment repairs to component level Ensure that EAM is correctly updated in a timely manner indicating the status of all faulty equipment, SED information, status of ordered parts – date ordered, supplier & ETA, accurate recording of parts and materials used, and labour invested as well as completion of closing data on repair completion Assist field teams with remote and onsite repairs, modifications, upgrades and technical troubleshooting Research and develop component replacements for obsolete or non-supported components Provide reports on asset movements, repairs completed and issues affecting timely repairs of BAI equipment, provide regular and constructive feedback to the NRCC team leader Assist with freighting and logistics and equipment calibration when required Assist with maintaining the NRCC in a clean efficient manner to ensure all operational and HSE requirements are met.
