**The Role**
We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer with 5+ years industry experience, who is passionate, creative and curious, with a deep understanding of user-centred design. You will help bring BIG W's strategy to life through continuously improving digital user experiences with an understanding of the BIG W strategy, key customer missions and journeys, and a deep empathy for customer needs.
**About You**
- Previous experience in a Digital Experience / UX role for a large multichannel retail business.
- Deep technical knowledge and experience in UX and UI design, Prototyping, and a good understanding of SEO, SEM and Google Analytics.
- Highly proficient in Figma in both design and prototyping.
- Experience in planning and executing user testing
**Main Accountabilities**
- Analysing digital customer behaviour to ensure the scope, interactions and end to end experience of the digital products satisfy customer needs inline with the initiatives and BIG W digital strategy.
- Be the custodian of digital UX/UI guidelines and maintain disciplined ways of working to ensure timelines are consistently met, stakeholders are engaged properly, and processes are efficient and cost effective.
- Support and guide to achieve optimal implementation of relevant products across the full digital ecosystem and ensure end to end UX/UI processes are considered by the wider digital team.
- Conceptualising original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
- Develop as an agile and collaborative UX and UI design professional, adapting to change and customer focused.
- Use research, insights and data to inform and iterate on all design decisions.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Deliver all visual design stages from concept, through research, deployment and iteration using Figma and other collaboration tools.
- Participate & assist in cross functional post implementation digital reviews to drive continuous improvement
