Schedule & Details
* Day Shift 5:30 am – 2:00 pm
* Permanent full‐time position
* Opportunity to earn overtime
What You'll Be Doing
* Operating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines
* Setting up and installing molds and other machine fixtures
* Setting grindingbst and cutting edges
* Carry out work in a safe manner, in accordance with safety procedures as applicable
* Ensure process efficiencies are achieved and maintained
* Ensure production is in line with the specified production schedule
* Ensure product quality is in accordance with relevant specification and that process checks are performed as required
* Actively participate in improvement projects
* Manual handling tasks are performed as Monday part of this role
* Be flexible and adaptable with a willingness to embrace shift work
* Comply with all WHS safety practices and procedure
What You'll Bring
* Previous experience in a manufacturing role
* Valid forklift license (up to 8 tonne)
* Previous experience in a quality assurance environment
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplace
* Ability to use computers for the entry and retrieval of process data and machine operation
* Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
