- Position based at Mount Barker
- Salary: AHA3 $70,293 - $74,914 p.a (pro rata)
- Temporary part time working 45 hours per fortnight until 2 October 2026

WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

Join our supportive and dedicated Allied Health team as an Allied Health Assistant, where you will play an important hands-on role in helping patients receive high-quality, person-centred therapy. This role offers variety, teamwork and the chance to make a genuine difference every day as you support Allied Health Professionals in delivering inpatient rehabilitation and therapy services.
We offer a positive team culture, opportunities to develop your clinical support skills, and the chance to work closely with experienced clinicians in a modern and welcoming regional hospital.

The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network offers opportunities across our sites, from Kangaroo Island to Eudunda, wrapping all the way around our metropolitan areas (this position is in Mount Barker). - Do you have a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent) and a passion for patient care?
- Are you someone who thrives in a team environment and communicates well with people from diverse backgrounds?
- Do you enjoy hands-on work, solving problems and supporting patients through their therapy journey?
- Are you adaptable, organised and committed to culturally safe, confidential and professional practice?

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

- Assist Allied Health Professionals by delivering delegated treatments, clinical screenings and patient support activities
- Monitor and report patient responses, support therapy preparation, and assist with patient transport and movement
- Maintain accurate documentation, assist with equipment upkeep and contribute to safe, high-quality work practices
- Support group therapy, provide directed education, and help foster a positive, collaborative team environment
