We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Scheduling Coordinator to join our Launceston based team in a full-time position. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator with a warm and empathetic approach who enjoys working in a busy environment that supports a can-do attitude to solving scheduling challenges with efficiency care and a proactive approach.
About the Role
The Scheduling Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the CCT participants receive the care and support they require in a timely manner. You will build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across our team including Care Managers, Coordinators and Service Delivery to provide a person-centred service.
The role will include:
Answering phone calls and assisting with participant and stakeholder enquiries.
Scheduling of support staff and ensuring all participant services are filled in a timely manner.
Using the Nightingale platform to schedule staff and case note occurrences.
Develop rosters to achieve efficiency and meet the needs of the clients.
Respond to cancellations and call ins in a timely manner.
Contribute to a strong safety and quality culture ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, standards and regulations.
Complete rostering tasks within designated timeframe.
Ensure all communication is managed in an empathetic, friendly, engaging and patient manner to quickly build rapport, trust and confidence with CCT stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
Demonstrated experience in a similar high-volume staff rostering and scheduling position or equivalent.
Exceptional problem-solving skills are essential for this position.
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
Demonstrated integrity, professionalism and a high level of resilience.
Strong planning and organisation skills with good attention to detail.
Competency in Microsoft Office suite.
Desirable Requirements
Experience in the Aged Care or Disability sector.
Experience with the Nightingale and Employment Hero platforms.
Understanding of the Aged Care and Disability sector SCHADS Award and how they impact on rosters will be advantageous.
