Job Summary:
The role of Senior Marketing Manager is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and develop expert marketing and communication advice and services.
This position requires a highly experienced marketing and communications expert who has delivered effective corporate communication campaigns, including behaviour change campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest and understanding of the local, state and national media landscape.
The successful candidate will be adept in leading and managing complex reputational issues using initiative and judgement in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a forensic eye for detail and experience and enthusiasm for turning complicated topics/research/analysis into more easily comprehended messages for target audiences.
The key responsibilities include:
* Delivering a consistently high standard of written communications, stakeholder engagement, collateral and reporting.
* Identifying, planning and developing highly effective marketing and communications opportunities and content that promote our organisation.
* Managing potential reputational risks by developing suitable communication strategies.
* Value-adding in the development of our brand identity project, including the implementation and monitoring of a consistent tone and language.
* Establishing and maintaining positive and productive relationships with local, regional and metropolitan stakeholders.
* Obtaining input, monitoring and reporting on stakeholder communication needs, interests and issues.
* Monitoring social media and media coverage and providing relevant reporting to manage crisis situations, measure effectiveness of campaigns and inform content.
* Guiding digital communication content across multiple projects.
* Preparing high-quality documentation ranging in complexity from correspondence to reports which are relevant to the audience.
* Participating in systems, policy and process improvement initiatives to improve operations.
