We are currently recruiting for a Contributions Planning Officer for our client, a Local Council based in Sydney
This is an 8-month maternity leave contract with a salary range of $94- $103k + super, based on a 35-hour work week. The role offers hybrid working arrangements (3 days in the office, 2 days from home), flexi-time accrual, and subsidised parking just a short walk from the station.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Planner to join a dynamic team and contribute to shaping one of Sydney's most diverse and rapidly growing regions.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Preparing, implementing, and reviewing Contributions Plans, Planning Agreements, and infrastructure planning policies.
* Providing strategic planning advice to internal and external stakeholders.
* Identifying population and development trends to inform infrastructure and service planning.
* Supporting the timely and cost-effective expenditure of contributions funds.
* Advocating for community outcomes through engagement with government and private sector stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in Town Planning, Social Planning, Infrastructure Planning/Delivery, Economics, or Engineering.
* A current Class C NSW Driver's Licence.
* Demonstrated experience in contributions planning within NSW would be desirable
* Strong project management, time management, and administrative skills.
* Understanding of Greenfield strategic planning and infrastructure needs.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A collaborative approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
