We are currently seeking experienced Machine Operators to join our busy team in Canning Vale on full time employment.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate fish processing machinery such as packing/cutting machines.
* Set up machines at the beginning of each shift and conduct basic pre-start checks.
* Monitor machine performance to maintain product quality and output.
* Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with company specifications and hygiene standards.
* Report faults or breakdowns to maintenance or supervisors promptly.
* Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety requirements.
* Assist with manual handling tasks, such as loading raw materials or packing finished products.
* Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role in Fresh Food Processing environment.
* Ability to work in a wet cold environment with seafood.
* Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food hygiene standards.
* Ability to communicate in English.
* Full, permanent work rights in Australia.
* Flexible hands‐on work attitude and a good level of physical fitness.
* Sound understanding of all WH&S Protocols.
* Ability to work well in a team environment.
