Caretaker – Grounds & Maintenance
Glen Helen, NT – Your Backyard is the Outback. Live and work in the only accommodation inside Tjoritja / West MacDonnell Ranges National Park – a remote haven surrounded by 800-million-year-old cliffs and endless desert skies.
The Role
This Full time Ongoing role is hands-on work keeping our grounds and facilities in top shape.
- Maintain lawns, gardens & trees
- Repair and upkeep park facilities
- Respond to after-hours call-outs
- Ensure safety & compliance
You Bring
- Grounds or maintenance experience (trade skills a bonus)
- WHS knowledge & full driver’s licence
- Practical, resourceful, and okay with living remote
- Able to work a 7-day roster including weekends/public holidays

This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
