About the Position
As Project Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in delivering large-scale commercial build projects. Reporting to an experienced Project Manager, you’ll coordinate trades, services, programming, procurement, RFIs, and ensure strong compliance with WHS legislation. Working closely with the site and project teams, you’ll gain comprehensive exposure across the entire delivery lifecycle, building the skills and experience needed to progress into a Project Manager role in the near future.
Duties
Assist with cost tracking, variations, and forecasting
Attend and document site meetings and coordination workshops
Liaise with consultants, engineers, and stakeholders as required
Review and manage subcontractor claims and approvals
Support commissioning and handover processes
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a Project Engineer or Contract Admin role desirable
Understanding of WHS and Quality Assurance compliance
Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
