About the Opportunity
This key role involves Aggregates sales across your territory in an end-to-end account management position. You will deliver agreed sales targets and business goals within assigned accounts through maintaining a structured contact plan that continually adapts to establish and improve relationships with new and existing customers.
You will also develop Key Account & segment strategies aligned with key customer objectives & trends.
Responsibilities
* Develop Customer Relationships: Maintain and enhance positive working relationships with assigned customers to build customer loyalty and maximise the likelihood of winning future business.
* New Business Opportunities: Identify and thoroughly follow up all new business, product and/or project opportunities within the existing customer base.
* Credit Limit Management: Ensure all customers are trading within their allocated credit limits and continually identify and assist in managing risk.
* Tendering and Quoting: Ensure all tenders and quotes for projects are carried out in accordance with approved processes.
* Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively across business functions (Operations, Technical and Logistics) to maximise business performance.
About You
* Sales Experience: Experience in B2B sales/account management ideally gained within the Concrete/Construction/Building Materials or related sectors.
* Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate openly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Autonomy and Time Management: Ability to work autonomously and with high-level time management skills.
* Interpersonal Skills: Well-developed interpersonal skills and be able to build rapport.
* System Proficiency: High proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP and other systems required to do the role effectively.
