Australian Veteran Health Services (AVHS) is seeking a reliable and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team in Daw Park. This is a role consists of frontline reception and administrative support. You'll be the first point of contact for veterans, playing an important role in delivering calm, organised and compassionate care.
About the role
In this stand‐alone role, you will support smooth daily clinic operations by balancing reception and administration duties. This is a role suited to someone who is confident, organised, and comfortable switching between patient‐facing reception tasks and administrative workflows.
Key responsibilities include
* Welcoming veterans and visitors in a warm, professional manner
* Managing incoming calls, booking appointments, recalls and follow‐ups
* Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
* Processing Medicare and DVA billings with attention to detail
* Providing transcription and general administrative support as required
About you
You are a self‐starter who is an experienced, confident and dependable Medical Receptionist who thrives working autonomously and learns new processes quickly. You are calm under pressure, comfortable with responsibility, and take pride in doing things properly.
