RESPONSIBILITIES :
* Clinical expectations; ability to cover all case types in the region.
* Assure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and preferences while maintaining adherence to company policies, procedures and clinical.
* Work with the Scheduling team and Clinical Management to achieve appropriate case scheduling, case assignment of SNPs and supervising physicians and case coverage daily.
* Periodic employee technical and performance reviews, as well as formal performance reviews with input from the Director.
* Periodic onboarding of new clinical team members.
* Provide technical troubleshooting with facilities and clinicians in the corresponding region as needed.
* Act as the primary point person and liaison between the Scheduling team, Clinical Management and the regional surgical neurophysiology team for regional case scheduling, case assignment and case coverage, daily (Reassessed Monthly).
* Work with the Credentialing team to ensure that SNPs maintain appropriate and up to date credentials monthly.
* Obtain surgeon, surgical and facility feedback from clinicians daily and ensure the information is updated in surgeon and facility preference cards.
* Research sheet completion and follow up with missing forms.
* Responsible for Clinicians performance, goals, and growth plans.
* Work closely with the Director to ensure they are aware of all relevant activities involving surgeons and facilities.
* Coordinate with mini team of clinicians regarding but not limited to :
* Travel coverage for other territories
* CE opportunities and presentations
* Company and SNP meetings
* Facility and surgeon preference updates.
* Daily schedule monitoring to ensure case coverage with unfamiliar surgeons and facilities result in positive OR experience.
* Frequent check ins with the clinical team to help maintain camaraderie and well-being of clinicians.
* Distribution / management of scrubs or other access codes for relevant facilities.
* Facilitate and coordinate orientation of any new techs to the facility and make sure they are familiarized with policies.
* Confirm with a direct report that the surgeon and facility cards are up-to-date and if not inform them what needs to be added if new surgeons come on board.
* Assign specific tasks / duties of case assignments with help from Regional Manager to facilitate case coverage.
* Give breaks throughout the day-to-day operations to help increase tech morale.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
* Minimum of 3 years IONM experience.
* Experience with case scheduling and logistics preferred.
* Client services experienced required.
* Ability and competency to provide IOM services for all case types performed in the region.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES :
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Experience with clinical scheduling.
* Experience with assessing and reviewing Quality Assurance reports with direct reports.
* Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathologic processes, and aseptic techniques.
* Knowledge of procedures followed in conducting electrophysiological tests and examination of patients.
* Knowledge of electrophysiological equipment.
* Excellent ability to interpret various electronic and neurophysiologic signals and waveforms.
* Ability to stand, turn, stoop among several types of equipment in an operating room suite.
* Ability to apply / place different types of electrodes / needles to a patient’s anatomy with precision and speed in preparation for monitoring a surgical procedure.
* Ability to sit for extended periods of time, while concentrating on monitoring computer screen images.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Ability to communicate effectively in writing, over the telephone, and in-person.

WORKING CONDITIONS :
* Possible exposure to communicable diseases, electromagnetic radiation, and hazardous materials, although with low likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed.
* Long periods working in an OR environment with limited access to food and restroom facilities.
* The use of protective clothing such as surgical clothing, masks, gloves, shoe covers and visors / goggles.
* Work that requires bending, crouching, and stooping, as well as lifting and moving supplies and bulky pieces of equipment.
* Extended periods of time sitting, while concentrating on the monitoring computer screen, IONM data traces and chat with Supervising Physician.
* Frequent travel by motor vehicle to multiple healthcare facilities.
* On-call situations and a variable work schedule, which changes from week to week, sometimes creating situations with minimal notice.
SALARY :
Commensurate dependent upon experience, competencies, and qualifications; $80,000-$100,000 AUD
