This position is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, person-centered cancer care in a community setting.
Working closely with the Cancer Day Unit at BRICC, the nurse will play a key part in delivering safe, specialized oncology treatment and supportive care in patients' homes.
The nurse's responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, delivering cancer care and symptom management, and ensuring safe practice using technical equipment and protocols.
A strong background in oncology nursing, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently are essential requirements for this role.
* Registered Nurse (Division 1) – AHPRA registration
* Post-grad qualifications or strong experience in Oncology nursing
* Proven clinical decision making and critical thinking skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to work independently and travel within the community
