The Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our team on-site and off-site in Smeaton Grange, NSW. This is a diverse, full-time role covering mech-elect industrial work, new construction, and modular building projects.
You will be a key part of our construction team, ensuring that all electrical systems are installed, commissioned, and maintained to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Commissioning: Layout and installation of cable trays, cabling, fitting off, and full system commissioning.
Construction & Modular: Perform electrical work across new industrial builds and innovative modular construction projects.
Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair system issues to ensure operational efficiency.
Compliance: Conduct routine inspections and ensure all work adheres to industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Collaboration: Work closely with the broader construction team and site supervisors to meet project deadlines and maintain quality workmanship.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Professional: A valid Australian Electrical License and relevant trade qualifications are essential.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting, specifically within a construction or industrial environment.
Mech-Elect Knowledge: Familiarity with Mechanical Electrical principles and practices.
Blueprint Literacy: Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Detail-Oriented: Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Physically Fit: Ability to work comfortably in various site environments.
Industry Experience: Previous experience in the construction industry is highly advantageous.
