Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and staff, the role reports to the Business Manager and is responsible for managing day‐to‐day internal and external tasks for enrolments and withdrawals for Early Childhood through to Senior College levels in the school.

Remuneration

This is a temporary, part‐time role (inclusive of term‐breaks). Salary and conditions of employment are determined by the Independent Schools ACT (Professional and Operational Staff) Staff Multi‐Enterprise Agreement 2025.

The position is classified at Level 5 of the Clerical and Administration category. The indicative gross annual salary is $103,997 (pro rata) plus 12% superannuation. Annual leave entitlement is 4 weeks per year, pro rata, subject to prior application and includes the End of Year compulsory shutdown. A leave loading of 17.5% applies.

Work pattern

This position is based onsite and requires 30.4 hours of work per week. There is flexibility in the work schedule, allowing you to choose between four full days (7.6 hours each) or five shorter days (6.08 hours each) per week. Attendance at information evenings and key enrolment‐related meetings is mandatory.

Key accountabilities

* Implement the complete enrolment process on a digital platform from Early Childhood to Senior College, by processing applications and coordinating interviews alongside the relevant staff in an accurate and timely manner.
* Handle enrolment enquiries through phone, email and in‐person, and engage with prospective families through the onboarding journey, to build lasting relationships with new families.
* Organise and manage school tours, open days and information evenings alongside the Communications and Marketing Officer and school leadership.
* Administer ongoing enrolment management, withdrawal notifications and processing inter‐school transfers.
* Ensure administrative processes are robust, streamlined and in line with Australian Independent Schools' best practice.
* Provide regular reports to the school management team regarding enrolment activity (new enrolments, withdrawals, trends).

Qualifications

* High degree of technological competence with software (Digistorm Funnel, Synergetic) and MS Office Suite.
* Excellent customer service and sales skills.
* A commitment to actively promoting and supporting Steiner education and the ethos of the school.
* High level of personal initiative and the ability to work independently.
* High level of communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently in a complex work environment.
* Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of personalities.
* Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records.
* Calm under pressure and able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Process driven, highly organised and detail orientated.
* ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration.
* Unrestricted work rights in Australia (Citizen or PR).

What we offer

* Competitive salary under the Independent School (Professional & Operational Staff) Cooperative Multi‐Enterprise Agreement 2025.
* Free onsite parking.
* Employee Assistance Program.
* Our commitment to maintaining a physically and psychosocially safe environment for all staff, students and visitors to the school.
* We respect and value your right to disconnect outside of work hours for a better work/life balance.

There is a 6‐month probationary period.
