Business Services Support Officer - Intake/Triaging

We are currently seeking a compassionate and organised Intake/Triaging Officer to join our team and play a pivotal role in assisting those in need. This is a full time role however part time applications will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the intake process for the organisation
* Undertake Triaging appointments with Clients
* Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions.
* Provide empathetic and supportive communication to individuals seeking assistance.
What You Would Bring To This Role:
* Previous experience in a similar intake or triaging role preferred.
* This role would suit a Counsellor in the making, who has recently completed, or nearing completion of a Diploma in Counselling.
* Tenacity and resilience would be fantastic traits for you to have in your personal toolbox.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
* Empathy and compassion toward individuals dealing with trauma.
* Proficiency in relevant computer applications and database management.
* Possession of a current, full Queensland Drivers License (C Class)
* Willing to go through a Criminal History check
* Possess a current Blue Card or ability to obtain
