Job Description Summary
We are seeking Expressions of Interest across multiple roles for upcoming outage work at Newport Power Station.
About the Role
Service Stream is seeking workers for upcoming shutdown work at Newport Power Station in Melbourne VIC, The outage is scheduled to run for 11 days, commencing in early November.
Joining our outage team is a great opportunity and can lead to further shutdown work in the future.
If you are qualified and experienced in any of the following trades, please submit your expression of interest.
- Industrial Mechanical Fitters
- Boilermakers/Pressure Welders
- Pipe Welders/Pipe Fitters
- Riggers – Intermediate level at a minimum
- Dual trade - Industrial Electrician/instrument technicians
- Trade assistants
Your Expression of Interest must include:
- Resume (or enter your experience and qualifications) on the application.
- Copies of supporting documentation and all certificates must be attached with application.
- Nominate one or multiple roles you are interested in.
Your requirements:
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence or equivalent proof of ID.
- Construction Induction White Card or equivalent.
- Formal qualifications relevant to your trade.
- Demonstrated relevant work experience in power stations.
- Commitment to Health, Safety, Environment, and Industry Best Practices.
- Willingness to undergo a Preemployment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Testing.
relevant for your role:
• Current Confined Space Certificate (within 3 years)
• Current Working at Heights Certificate (within 3 years)
• HV industry experience (Electricians)
•We need some Trade assistants to hold a valid EWP/Telehandler ticket
•We need some Trade assistants to hold Confined Space Rescue tickets (within 3 years validity)
