About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as an Associate Midwife Unit Manager within our Women's Assessment Unit. This position offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of maternal care within our dynamic team.

In this role you will work with the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager to lead our specialist Women's Assessment Unit team, providing clinical leadership and operational oversight in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. You'll manage complex cases, mentor emerging midwives and ensure exceptional standards of care for women and families during critical assessment periods. This role combines hands-on clinical practice with strategic unit management, perfect for experienced midwives seeking leadership challenges.

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate OR be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
