Job Description
* Develop and implement effective production planning processes to support business objectives.
* Must have Food Manufacturing experience
* Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure raw materials are available for production schedules.
* Monitor production performance and adjust plans to meet demand fluctuations and minimise downtime.
* Maintain accurate records of production schedules, forecasts, and inventory levels.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and enhance efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations within all planning activities.
* Analyse data to provide insights and recommendations for optimising production planning strategies.
* Communicate effectively with internal teams to align goals and expectations across departments.
A Successful Production Planning Manager Should Have
* Demonstrated experience in production planning within the Food Manufacturing industry.
* A strong understanding of procurement and supply chain operations.
* Proficiency in using planning and inventory management systems.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
